Referees play an important part in the game of basketball and without them there would be no game to play.

 

So are you interested in refereeing and want to start your pathway or develop skills as a basketball referee and support our games and association?

 

We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would like to undertake an upcoming referees course.

This form is an expression of interest only. Completing and submitting this form does not guarantee a place in the course.

The proposed course will cover:

• Refereeing fundamentals

• Some practical on‑court skills

• Discuss the pathways and opportunities

• Current FIBA rules

 

Depending on the number of responses received, email invitations will be issued to selected participants asking them to register for the course. These invitations will include:

• Date and time of the course

• Venue/location details

• Cost of the course

• Requirements to bring on the day
